Frequently asked questions
How much does a brand protection pack cost in Ireland?
The price of this self-complete template is shown at the top of this page. You pay once and there are no further charges from us. The price covers the template and guidance notes only — it does not include legal advice or review by a solicitor.
Should I register a trade mark in Ireland or the EU?
It depends on where you trade. An Irish registration covers Ireland, while an EU trade mark covers all EU member states.
Is a company name the same as a trade mark?
No. Registering a company or business name does not give trade mark rights. A trade mark registration gives stronger protection.
