1. Who we are

These terms govern your use of www.onlinelegalservices.ie (the Site) and any purchase made through it. The Site is operated by Plus Promotions Limited (we, us), a private company limited by shares registered in Ireland, company number 670635, VAT number IE3687614CH, registered office Ludgate Hub, Old Bakery, Townsend Street, Skibbereen, Co. Plus Promotions Limited is not a solicitor’s practice and is not regulated by the Law Society of Ireland or the Legal Services Regulatory Authority.

2. What we provide

We provide (a) general legal information, guides and calculators, and (b) document templates that you complete yourself (Digital Documents). We are not solicitors. Nothing on the Site is legal advice, and no solicitor-client relationship arises between you and us. We do not draw or prepare any document for you, do not take instructions from you about your own circumstances, and do not advise on whether a template suits your situation.

3. Digital Documents

Each Digital Document is a standard-form template with guidance notes. You are responsible for completing it, checking that it fits your circumstances, and complying with any signing, witnessing or registration requirements. Templates are drafted for use in the Republic of Ireland. We update templates from time to time, but we do not warrant that any template reflects the law on the date you use it. If you are unsure, take advice from a solicitor before relying on a template.

4. Matters that need a solicitor

Some matters, including conveyancing, probate, court proceedings and the preparation of documents relating to property or estates, must by law be handled by a solicitor. Where a page on the Site covers such a matter, it is information only and links to the Law Society of Ireland’s Find a Solicitor directory. We do not recommend, introduce or vet any particular solicitor and are not party to any engagement you enter into. If we later add a referral partner, this clause will be updated to say who it is and how it is paid, and that practice will deal with you directly under its own engagement letter.

5. Price and payment

Prices are shown in euro and include VAT at the applicable rate. Payment is taken at checkout by card through our payment processor. Your order is accepted when we email the download link or confirmation.

6. Delivery and your right to cancel

Digital Documents are delivered by email or download link, usually within a few minutes of payment. Under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 you have 14 days to cancel a distance contract, but this right is lost for digital content once the download or delivery has begun with your express consent. By ticking the consent box at checkout you agree that delivery begins immediately and that you lose the right to cancel. If a file is corrupt or does not match its description, email us within 14 days and we will replace it or refund you.

7. Licence

On payment we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Digital Document for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may not resell, republish or share templates.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of information or templates on the Site, and our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price paid for that order. Consumers’ statutory rights are unaffected.

9. Complaints

Email info@onlinelegalservices.ie. We aim to reply within five working days. Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform. Complaints about any solicitor you instruct go to that practice and, if unresolved, to the Legal Services Regulatory Authority.

10. General

These terms are governed by Irish law and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If any term is unenforceable the rest continue. We may update these terms; the version shown at checkout applies to your order.
