Frequently asked questions
How much does a returning to Ireland family legal pack cost?
The price of this self-complete template is shown at the top of this page. You pay once and there are no further charges from us. The price covers the template and guidance notes only — it does not include legal advice or review by a solicitor.
Do I need a new Will when I move back to Ireland?
A Will made abroad may still be valid, but it may not work well under Irish law, particularly for Irish property. Reviewing your arrangements when you move is sensible.
Does a non-Irish spouse need immigration permission?
A non-EEA spouse of an Irish citizen may need permission to live in Ireland.
For more on separation, children and family law, see our Family Law in Ireland guides and services.
