Guide only — this matter needs a solicitor. Under Irish law this work must be carried out by a solicitor, so it is not sold on this site. The information below explains what is involved so you can brief a solicitor with confidence.
OnlineLegalServices.ie is operated by Plus Promotions Limited, which is not a solicitor’s practice and does not give legal advice. To instruct a regulated practice, use the Law Society of Ireland’s Find a Solicitor directory.
A Will review service in Ireland is a solicitor’s check of an existing Will to make sure it is still valid and reflects your wishes. This Will Review Service is Ireland-specific and carried out under Irish succession law, tailored to your circumstances. It is for people who made a Will some time ago, or whose circumstances have changed, and want a solicitor to check it without open-ended hourly billing. This service is not a substitute for full legal representation in contested or high-value matters; for complex disputes, contact us for a tailored quote.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Will review cost in Ireland?
This page is a free guide — nothing on it is for sale. Solicitors set their own fees for this work and must give you a written costs estimate (a section 150 letter) before starting. Get quotes through the Law Society of Ireland’s Find a Solicitor directory.
When should I review my Will?
It is sensible to review your Will after major life events, such as marriage, separation, the birth of a child, a death in the family or buying property. Marriage generally revokes an earlier Will unless it was made in contemplation of that marriage.
What if my Will needs changing?
Depending on the changes, a codicil or a new Will may be needed. The review will explain which is more suitable.
