Most debts settle the moment a solicitor’s letter lands
If a customer owes you money and won’t pay, a fast and cost-effective tool is a solicitor-issued demand letter. It signals you’re serious, it puts a deadline in front of them, and in our experience it resolves the majority of disputes within seven days — without ever going to court.
What’s included — not currently available (single solicitor letter)
- Review of the underlying invoice / contract / paper trail
- Solicitor-issued demand letter on letterhead, sent to your debtor
- Clear payment deadline (typically 7 days)
- Notice of intention to issue legal proceedings if unpaid
- Status report after the deadline
If the demand doesn’t work
- Small claims (under €2,000): Citizens Information’s Small Claims Court — we can guide you through it
- District / Circuit Court proceedings: we can refer or quote a for issuance
- Statutory demand under Companies Act: for company debtors above €10,000
