Solicitor service begins
Legal work is carried out by an independent Irish solicitor’s practice, which is responsible for it.
How an engagement works
- You choose a service on OnlineLegalServices.ie and submit your details.
- PLUSOLS LIMITED collects your enquiry and supporting information.
- Matters requiring legal advice or solicitor work are referred to an independent Irish solicitor’s practice.
- A purchase or enquiry does not by itself mean that an independent Irish solicitor’s practice has accepted you as a client or accepted the instruction.
- Before any legal work progresses, an independent Irish solicitor’s practice completes its own onboarding. This includes, as applicable, conflict of interest checks, client identification and verification, anti-money-laundering checks, matter risk assessment, issue of its engagement and costs documentation including its client care letter, and any source-of-funds or source-of-wealth requirements.
- Legal work begins only once that practice has completed onboarding and confirmed acceptance of the instruction.
- an independent Irish solicitor’s practice provides the legal service and is responsible for it. Legal correspondence is issued on that practice’s letterhead.
- This applies to all solicitor services, including consultations, document reviews and solicitor letters, as well as larger matters such as conveyancing, probate, divorce and litigation.
