Get Ahead of the EU Pay Transparency Directive — Ireland 2026
The EU Pay Transparency Directive must be transposed into Irish law by June 2026. Every Irish employer with more than a handful of staff will need: a documented pay-structure, new wording on every job ad, a salary-history ban in recruitment, pay-gap reporting, and a process for joint pay assessments where gaps exceed 5%.
Our fixed-fee Pay Transparency Readiness Pack gives you the entire compliance bundle in one go, prepared and signed off by an Irish-qualified solicitor.
What’s included (€449)
- Pay-range policy document tailored to your business.
- Compliant job-advertisement template with pay-range wording (two variants: permanent and contract).
- Salary-history ban statement for your recruitment pack.
- Pay-gap assessment template with the 5% threshold trigger built in.
- Joint pay-assessment procedure (required if a gap above 5% is identified).
- Staff notification wording explaining their new pay-transparency rights.
- 30-minute consultation with an Irish solicitor to walk through the pack and your questions.
Who needs this?
Any Irish employer with 100+ employees faces mandatory reporting from 7 June 2026. Employers with 50–99 staff follow by 2027, and the job-ad and salary-history rules apply to all employers regardless of size. Getting ahead of the deadline now costs less than retrofitting in panic.
Frequently asked questions
Does this apply if I have fewer than 50 staff?
Yes — the job-advertisement, salary-history ban, and pay-transparency-on-request rules apply to all employers. Only the pay-gap reporting thresholds scale by headcount.
Is this a template or solicitor-drafted advice?
Every pack is reviewed and signed off by an Irish-qualified solicitor before delivery. You get the template plus the sign-off letter for your compliance file.
How soon will I get the pack?
Five to seven working days from payment, including your 30-minute consultation slot.
What happens if a pay gap above 5% is found during assessment?
You’re legally required to run a joint pay-assessment with employee representatives. Our pack includes the procedure, notification wording, and outcome-record template for this.
