Not yet. The EU deadline was 7 June 2026 and Ireland has confirmed it did not meet it. Employers are still expected to comply once the Irish legislation is enacted, so preparing now avoids a rush later.
Does this apply if I have fewer than 50 staff?
The job-advertisement, salary-history ban and pay-transparency-on-request rules in the directive apply to all employers. Only the pay-gap reporting thresholds scale by headcount.
