Married American couples where both partners are relocating to Ireland on any of the following bases: one spouse on Stamp 0 (Persons of Independent Means) with the other as dependent, one spouse as an EU-national sponsor with the American partner joining under Stamp 4, both spouses retiring to Ireland, one spouse taking up remote US work from Ireland while the other is on an Irish employment contract, or Irish-American dual citizens returning with a non-Irish spouse. How it works
On purchase we open a joint matter and send both spouses a single secure intake form covering identity, US state of last residence, Irish address, visa position, IRAs / 401(k) / pension balances, US property, Irish property, and beneficiary wishes. A solicitor reviews the file schedules the joint consultation. Drafts of both Wills, both PPSN packs, and the Stamp review are delivered together for cross-consistency. Final signed PDFs and witnessing instructions are delivered by email.
Why a couple’s pack is better value than two separate files
Moving as a couple is not two independent legal matters — it’s one joint residency strategy with two paper trails. Doing both spouses together saves roughly 20% versus buying individual Welcome Packs, avoids contradictory Will clauses (e.g. mirror wills that do not actually mirror), and ensures the Stamp 0 / Stamp 4 strategy is internally consistent so neither INIS nor the IRS can pick holes in the paperwork.

All work is carried out by a qualified Irish solicitor in line with the Solicitors (Professional Practice, Conduct and Discipline) Regulations.
