FAQs

Will my kids be Irish citizens?

Not automatically. Children born in Ireland to non-Irish parents are Irish only if a parent is Irish, EU, or has 3+ years legal residence.

Can my spouse work?

Depends on visa. Stamp 3 doesn’t allow work. Stamp 1A permits employment.
